My name is Karlyn Houcek. Bohemian (Gypsy) on one side, Norwegian/German on the other. As veteran of the U.S. Army I spent time serving across the globe in South Korea, Ft. Campbell, and Ft. Eustis. I am a Network Engineer by day and a photographer, musician and artist whenever absolutely possible. My photography equipment consists of a modest Canon 60D and Rebel. I like the Rebel's simplicity as it does quite well at the basic stuff.

I enjoy "focusing" on nature, architectural subjects and candid shots of people....but really what it comes down to is that I like to take pictures of just about everything.
